Dear Ms. Peterson, and Mr. Eplin,
Kelly Pipe (COC NCG030727) is providing email notification as required by NCG030000 as per benchmark
exceedances.
Kelly Pipe has become aware of benchmark exceedances for TSS, Cu and Zinc at Outfall 002 for the samples
collected on 5/14/24.
This will put our facility in a Tier Two Stormwater Permit Status for TSS and Cu at Outfall 002.
The lab report dated 6/2/24 indicated a TSS concentration of 153 mg/I (benchmark is 100 mg/I) for Outfall 002
and a Cu concentration of .030 (benchmark is .010) and .261 (benchmark is .126).
This puts us in Tier 2for TSS and Copper and keeps us in Tier 3 for Zinc.
We have previously submitted an action plan for the Tier Three status for Zinc on Outfall 003 and are implanting
it at this time.
