I have included a brief response to each of your requests below. Your letter asks for the following information: i) Please re-submit plans on full plan sheets at a scale of no smaller than i"=5o' with labeled topographic contours. A set offull--scale construction drawings are included with the attachments. Although the drawings are at is 60, we believe that this will be sufficient for your review of the project. The original impact map details are at s:3o. 2) Please provide building envelopes for all lots with wetlands, streams or buffers. The Town ofCary does not allow lots to be platted into the buffers. Howeve , we have provided a full scale drawing thatshows the building envelope forall lots that border a riparian buffer. 3) Please provide an explanation for the proposed road located adjacent to the south of the project, and the widening of Green Level to Durham Road. Additionally, please verify that the proposed crossings are between 75 degrees and soy degrees, and that reported stream impact length is the centerline of the stream and not the proposed length of the culvert. The Evans Farm Subdivision is part of the Alston Activity Center Concept Plan, developed by the Town of Cary and adopted on March z3, 2006. As part of the site plan approval, the developer was required to widen the existing road in accordance with the Town of Cary thoroughfare plan. The developer on the opposite side of the street has already constructed half of the widening, and we will complete the wideningon ourhalf. Impacts A and B consist of extending an existing cul vent under Green Level to Durham Road, and therefore, cannot be crossed within is degrees of perpendicular (: e. when the road was originally installed, it did not cross these streams at a perpendicular angle). For impact C, we attempted to cross the creek as close as possible to 90 degrees. However, in order to tie into the existing intersection at Green Level and Norton's Creek Road, the alignment could not be shifted to cross at a perpendicular angle. The reported stream length was calculated as the stream meanders, as evidenced by the shading on the impact maps. Please feel free to call if you have questions or require additional information. Mr. Futrell: On November 20, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated November 20, 2007, to fill or otherwise impact 0.09 acres of 404/wetland, 86 linear feet of permanent, perennial stream impact, and 373 linear feet of intermittent stream impact (3491inear feet permanent impact and 241inear feet temporary impact to construct the proposed residential subdivision. The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of-the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: 1.
