To whom it may concern,
This letter was prepared by our wastewater system manager, Jon. Southern, in
reference to a Fecal Violation. Quail Run in the past has made and continues
to make every possible effort to stay in compliance with regulatory agencies.
As noted in January 2024 EDMR Quail Run was experiencing problems with
recirculating well pumping ability, once problem was noticed electrician was
called in to remedy the problem,however all other data was well within
permitted limits. Quail Run tries to stay on top of any mishap that could
cause any type of violation or future problem.
Due to the increasing cost of treatment chemicals, shipping of chemicals,
pumping of septic tanks, and overall rising cost of operating the plant, Quail
Run requested that the violation fine be reduced or bypassed. You may notice
the last several months of data is in compliance with the state of NC. We will
continue to strive for 100% compliance.
