Based on the investigation done to identify who owns the property directly underneath the Isabella bridge, it appears to be owned by the DOT/State of NC. With the proposed structures encroaching not only into the adjacent property owner's riparian corridor but also across the entire property, DCM would still require some deed or other instrument indicating that DOT/State of NC approves this structure. This seems to be a viable option, based on the email provided to DCM by Mr. Nichols on 4/23/24. Once the agreement has been provided to DCM, we should be able to take this project off hold and proceed with a permit decision. 1 If you have any questions let me know Best, Cameron Luck Assistant Major Permits Coordinator North Carolina Division of Coastal Management North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (252) 515-5419 - office * Please note my new email address (cameron.luckAdeq, rig v). 400 Commerce Avenue Morehead City, NC 28557 http,//Dortal. ncdenr.ora/web/cm/dcm-home Email correspondence to and from this address is subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law and may be disclosed to third parties.
