Charlotte Water is requesting an extension for submittal of SIU permit modifications as required in NPDES Permit
#NC0024970, Part I.A.10.c.ii.These modifications are currently due July 1, 2024.We are requesting a 30-day
extension of this requirement with a new due date of August 1, 2024.A monitoring program for PFAS is currently
in place at Charlotte Water and SIUs expected or suspected of PFAS discharges are sampled quarterly.
