This letter will address corrective actions that have already been taken at
the WWTP, and those that are in the process of being done.
0n 19 and 20 July 1999, both aeration ditches were completely cleaned by

The pressure in the water supply to the chlorinator is recorded each day.
It has been determined that the chamber does have a chlorine diffuser, but
it will need updating. We are going to upgrade the diffusing system as soon
as possible.
The Town Board has been approached in reference to the flow pace, we will
have further discussion at the 3 August 1999 Board Meeting.
A thorough I/I study will soon be underway with the assistance of Mr. Rawls,
and equipment he has kindly offered to educate us on, and let us use; as per
a conversation between the Mayor and Mr. Rawls.
The pump stations are inspected daily as required.
Three of the four drying beds are in use at this time. The fourth will be
leveled to be ready for use within the next week, by Affordable Plumbing.
Mr. Green is going to conduct the MLSS test next week, this is to give the
newly cleaned aeration ditches time to obtain the proper levels.
The Town has purchased a BOD probe.

The Water and Sewer. Dept. is in the process of contacting the Operator_Training
and Certification Unit, to work on our SOP.
Mr. Green hasscheduled a meeting with ..Mr. Tony Arnold,., on 18 August 1999 at
10:00 A.M. at our WWTP, to discuss several issues.
