Subject: Additional Information for Stormwater Permit Request for the NC 43
Connector (Bosch Boulevard) in Craven County. State Project No. 6.804857,
TIP No. R-4463. USACE Action ID 200310789.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) proposes to construct on new
location an extension of NC 43 from NC 55 to US 17 in Craven County. Craven County falls
under the jurisdiction of the Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA). The NCDOT is applying
for a Clean Water Act (CWA) §404 Department of Army Permit, and a North Carolina CWA
§401 Water Quality Certification.
A Stormwater Application Form, the Project Scope Narrative, the project title sheet, and the
authority to debit $420.00 for the permit application fee were sent on May 29, 2007. Please
review the additional information that was requested in reference to SW7070609.
