At the request of NCDEQ, FedEx Ground is submitting this letter to detail the administrative changes
associated with FedEx Ground changing company names to its parent organization. Effective June 1,
2024, FedEx Ground Package System, Inc.will become Federal Express Corporation under a legal name
change, as FedEx Ground is owned by Federal Express Corporation. Bulleted below are updates
applicable to all current FedEx Ground facilities with coverage under NCDEQ's General Stormwater
Permits and No Exposure Certification/Exclusion. Current operations at these locations will not change.
Below is the buffeted list of administrative updates for the company followed by a table detailing each
facility's permit/authorization type, permit/authorization number, physical location, and new facility
name.
