Section D: Summary of Finding/Comments (Attach additional sheets of narrative and checklists as necessary) A compliance inspection was conducted on 6/5/2024 by Breann Spencer and Robbie Bullock with DWQ- WaRO. James Kuiper was the ORC on site during the inspection. There is no standby generator at the WWTP. If power is lost, flow is diverted to the storage lagoon. Renewed permit #NC0061492 became effective March 1, 2024. Facility uses Waypoint as the contract lab. Facility is field certified for pH, DO, temperature, and TRC. Field lab certification # 5309. DMR for Sept. 2023 was checked against lab reports for accuracy. The BOD on the DMR was recorded as < 20 when lab reports showed < 2. The DMRs for Aug. and Oct. 2023 were checked for BOD and were found to be < 2. Error was noted and ORC has revised eDMR. The facility is behind on submitting the Annual Reports. BIMS has listed backup ORC Julian Jones as invalid at time of inspection. ORC was notified and is working on resolving these issues. The bar screen area needs to be cleanned out. Empty and extra gas clyinders were not secured in the chlorine storage area. The facility was found to be compliant with permit #NC0061492.
