Dear Ms. Armeni,
Per the Notice of Violation for Northview MHP; During the month of February North
View waste water treatment plant experienced a fecal limit exceedance for 2/15/24 and
2/29/24. Both of these exceedances were due to power supply failures. The blower was
only running intermittently during its timed cycle. Therefore not enough oxygen or
mixing occurred in the aeration basins for the proper treatment to occur. Through these
two exceedances it was identified that the breaker for the blower was not operating
correctly. The breaker was replaced allowing the blower to keep the water treatment
within it’s permit limit. Also the power supply company was contacted and identified that
adequate electricity was not being supplied at all times causing the breaker to fail. A new
power pole and power supply line will be installed to rectify the electricity fluctuation
issues
