Good afternoon,
We received your application for a new post-construction stormwater permit on 5/1/2024. At this time,
the submission is not administratively complete and cannot be accepted for review in its current
condition. Please provide the following submittal items within 30 calendar days (by close of business on
6/2/2024) so that we may accept the project and begin the review process, otherwise, the project will
be returned as administratively incomplete.
• 1x hard copy of a USGS topographic map identifying the site location. If the receiving stream is
reported as class SA or the receiving stream drains to class SA waters within %z mile of the site
boundary, include the 1/2 mile radius on the map. This item is required per 15A NCAC 02H
.1042(2)(d) and per Section VI, 6 of the Application. Quad sheet map is included within.
• 2x signed & sealed hard copies of a plan sheet showing the following corrected additions:
o The plans must be signed. The seals had no signature. Signed plans are included.
o Existing site conditions. This item is required per Section VI, 8k&8n of the Application
and 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(g)(v). It was listed on the cover page, but was not included
in the submittal. Please provide. Not sure why this sheet was missing, but complete
plans are included.
o Wetland delineation or a note on the plans stating that there are no wetlands located
on-site.This item is required per 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(g)(iii) &Section VI, 8m of the
1
Application. Please also list the name of the individual that made this determination in a
note on the plans. No wetlands on site. Note added.
o BUA dimensions and layouts. This item is required per Section VI, 8j of the Application.
The BUA information shown in the Application, Supplement-EZ Form, and calculations
should be verified from the plans. You may wish to add a BUA table to the plans. We
had a drainage areas sheet completed, but I guess it was mistakenly omitted. I have
added dimensions of the impervious areas.
o Details of roads, sidewalks, drainage features, piped collection systems, and the
proposed stormwater controls. This item is required per Section VI 81 of the
application. Detail sheets are included.
o Landscape plan. This item is required by the MDCs for Wet Ponds and per 15A NCAC
02H.1053.The wet basin planting plan is included with sheet C-06 and other pond
details.
o Stormwater maintenance access and easement. This item is required by General MDCs 8
&9 (15A NCAC 02H .1050(8) & (9)). Easement layer was accidentally turned off at
printing. Apologies for this omission.
NOTE:This is an administrative completeness review, not a detailed engineering review, there may be
other issues that may be brough up during the engineering review.
If these items are received within the stipulated timeframe, we can accept the project and begin the
review process. Once accepted, reviews under the standard permitting process can take up to 90
calendar days per statute.
