Ian,
A couple of questions regarding your certification for the Shotwell Landfill (DWQ#19970893):
Condition 2: Diffuse flow - it sounds like a plan needs to be submitted to your office showing how diffuse flow &
nitrogen reduction are achieved. All that information was included in Attachment 6 of the permit application. Do
you need any additional information besides that or is this condition just standard wording?
Condition 8: The buffer mitigation numbers are taken from the EEP approval, which was based on preliminary
numbers we sent them as the design was still being finalized. Our final impacts are less than the request and
therefore your buffer mitigation requirement is at a higher than 3:1 or 1.5:1 ratio. Can we revise this to the
numbers in the attached impact summary that I sent the other week (176,418 Zone 1, 83,112 Zone 2)?
