Cat,
Please see attached updated exhibits, hopefully these will address your concerns.
Note as well that this is an older, non -expiring buffer letter and way back when we had to use the full-size
topographic maps and scan an 8.5 x 11 section and hand draw the information. Steven Ball from our office has
taken that map and georeferenced the parcels and added to the topo map exhibit. We did not do the NRCS Soil
Survey too, but you should be able to cross reference with the clear SS included with the attachments (page 4).
Attachments:
-Impact Exhibit with clearly labeled LOD-Exhibit C
-Overall Site Plan with clearly labeled LOD-Exhibit B
-Georeferenced Buffer Letter Overlay-topo map that shows project boundaries.
Please let me know if these exhibits answer your concerns/questions. If not, lets please schedule a virtual
meeting to discuss.
Thankyou,

Hello Debbie,
Thank you again for sending the additional information. I have a few more questions regarding the stream and wetlands
on the eastern boundary of the site.
1) Reviewing the updated impact map, I wanted to confirm that the construction boundary does not overlap the
wetland on the eastern edge of the site?
2) Also, can you orient me to how the buffer determination maps (pg 8-9 of the application packet) coordinate to
the impact map please?
Best,
Cat

Cat,
Thank you for your review and comments. We have provided responses to your comments below in red in addition
to providing updated attachments.
1) If a pump around will be used, please provide a copy of the pump around design. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(c)]
Response: A pump around detail is not provided and attached (see Exhibit E). In addition, the pump
around location and diversion berms have been added to Exhibit C (diversion berms orange, pump around
purple hatched).
2) Provide any restoration plans you may be using for returning the area to pre -construction contours and
revegetating. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(c)]
Response: A wetland restoration plan has been added to Exhibit B, see attached.
3) Explain why open cut, and not a less invasive method, will be used for installation of the sanitary sewer and
water lines. [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)(2)]
Response: Per the project engineer and applicant- Logistics and schedule are impacted by including an
additional trade. There are coordination challenges for layout and staking.
The neighbor's property, 300 Waterfield Ridge Place, could be negatively impacted by bore hole
excavation. In addition, a Bore & lack or directional drill construction method are cost prohibitive."
