As a response to the above -referenced Notice of Violation, the Town acknowledges that
one of its SBR tanks is currently not in operation. We have been in contact with an
electrician to consult on the remaining repairs and expect to have an estimated
completion date to deliver to you and Ms. Rose with in the very near future. Weather
permitting, the electrician plans to be onsite on 3/26/24 to repair the actuator valve in the
second basin, and will assess what, if any, work remains to be completed at that time.
We respectfully ask that you consider that during the time the second SBR basin has been
out of operation for repair work, the Town continues to meet its limits. From 2020 until
the time the above -referenced Notice of Violation was received, the Town has had no
other notices of violation. The Town's annual average flows have been 0.089034 MOD
in 2021, 0.06788 MOD in 2022, and 0.058841 MOD in 2023. Despite rain events and
inflow and infiltration, the average monthly flows and subsequent discharge data have
remained compliant.
