Linda Wiggs, Inspector, met with Kevin Bryan ORC.
Facility has 4 months in 2019 with BOD violations. The inspection was conducted to discuss
compliance issues, conduct follow up with sampling and process control evaluations.

Process Control:
Pumper Truck Date: 4/1/19, 7/22/19 (3600 gallons each)
Settleability:
300 ml @ 10 min.
200 ml @ 30 min. Supernatant mostly clear.
Sludge Judge:
Clarifier - 1st hopper – 4.5’ blanket/8’ liquid, 2nd hopper – 3.5’ blanket/8’ liquid.
Chlorine Contact Chamber – 4” blanket
ORC stated:
Air On 45 min./Off 15 min. Daytime
Air On 30 min./Off 30 min. Nighttime
RAS every other month
WAS monthly
Chlorination 1 tube, De-Chlorination 1.5 tube. ORC has adjusted these chemical levels to such
anticipating this correct the BOD issue.
MLSS Results: 1390 mg/l
The high level alarm was going off upon arrival. The EQ was almost full and spilling over into the
aeration tank. ORC believes the WAS valve was open slightly overnight. Follow up component repairs
also took place.
