Subject: Sawyer Ridge Subdivision
Dear sir/madam,
Please find the attached set of plans and calculations for your review.
Sawyer Ridge is a proposed twelve lot single family subdivision located along Red Hill Church Road in the
Town of Erwin. Utilities for the site will be provided via public water and individual septic systems. The
project lies at the top of a ridge and stormwater will be conveyed either by roadside swales or overland
sheet flow.
This subdivision is being submitted as a low-density project with impervious areas being kept under 24%.
Approximately 18,220 sf of impervious is associated with NCDOT roads and 5,500 sf of impervious is being
allocated to each lot for the home, driveway, and any lead sidewalk. It is anticipated that the actual
impervious will be 84,220 sf(23.8%)if each lot maximized the amount allowed.
