Hi Bill,
The purpose of this email is to notify you of the following sediment that discharged from the site at Bexford Subdivision
in the Fuquay-Varina Jurisdiction (COC NCC231386; Fuquay EC-2021-45) witnessed Wednesday during our NPDES
inspection that impacted the wetlands.
This is just N of SSB 15 where a silt fence outlet breached. The size of this sediment past the LOD(which is mostly darker
wetland -type soils) is approximately 40' beyond the silt fence in several pockets, between 2'x2' and 4'x6' in size and
between 1/2" and 4" deep at the deeper locations.
Crews repaired the outlet but were unable to remove sediment from the wetland area yet. They will recover this
sediment using shovels and buckets as soon as possible.
