SR 1740 ( Indian Mound Road) approximately 3 . 8 miles southeast
of the City Limits of Albemarle, Stanly County, travel south
on SR 1740 about 3 . 5 miles to the junction with SR 1743
(Randalls Church Road) . Turn left and travel on SR 1743 about
1 . 1 miles to the junction with SR 1802 (Randalls Ferry Road) .
Turn left and proceed on SR 1802 about 0 . 2 mile, The Brummitt
residence is the fifth house on the left (north) side of the
road.

existing site appears to be well above any potential flood

downstream uses : The receiving stream is a hydro-
electric impoundment that is used extensively for primary
and secondary recreation. The treated wastewater is
piped several hundred feet from the shore towards the
main channel .
