This tract is mostly vacant in the mid portion of the property, with a gravel lot and storage that front Wade Nash Road on the northern side of the site. The Fire Station and associated program elements shall be located on the Northern portion of the property. This site proposed public sewer that crosses Wade Nash Road and parallels the road to connect to existing sewer manhole. The sewer becomes private once on site and has services to the building. The public sewer has approximately 303-ft of 8-in PVC and 1 I 1-ft of 8-in DIP gravity sewer. Given this information, sewer permit application package for public sewer is provided with this submittal. The southeastern corner of the property has a buffered creek. The site does not lie within 100-year flood area. See the FEMA maps 3720065700J(dated 05/02/2006). The site is within the Basal Creek Watershed which is in the Neuse River Basin. There are no existing wetlands on the site. There will be approximately 6 acres of ground disturbance with this project. The existing, downstream, sewer main serving the fire station flows to the Terrible Creek WWTP (WQ0066516) which is owned and operated by Town of Fuquay-Varina.
