The site is bound by 9th Street to the north, 10th Street to the south, "C" Street to the east and "B" Street to the west. The site currently has some paved areas which will be removed to accommodate new construction. The stormwater runoff associated with the building will be conveyed to a stone trench with perforated pipe. The perforated pipe connects to catch basins. Stormwater runoff associated with the parking areas is conveyed to curb inlets. Stormwater runoff associated with the remaining site areas is conveyed to catch basins via drainage swales. The runoff from the site will be conveyed to a 4.5 foot deep wet detention basin. The basin is designed in accordance with North Carolina "Design of Stormwater Control Facilities" manual. The pond will discharge to an existing storm drainage system on the east side of the site.
