Dear Mr. Bowling:
The Wilmington Regional Office received a revised Stormwater submittal for Island Quay
Subdivision on January 20, 1994. Based on our review of the revised project plans and information, we
have determined that the revision complies with the Stormwater regulations set forth in Title 15A NCAC
2H.1003(a)(2). This Certification is a revision of the one issued on December 21, 1990. All conditions
and terms of that previously issued Certification remain in effect except as herein provided:
1. Lots 30 and 31 are returned to the original impervious coverage of 1,817 square feet.

Dear Ms. Lewis:
The previous certification revision which we requested on December.
21 , 1990, was contingent upon amending the Island Quay Subdivision
restrictive covenants. The restrictive covenants were never amended
to reflect the impervious coverage reduction for lot i131.
Consequently, we request that the certification be revised to reflect
the original square footage allocated to lot 43.1, which was 1,817
square feet.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Penegar:
On January 13, 1993 this Office issued a Notice of Violation to you for exceeding your built-upon
area limitation of 2,500 square feet by constructing a bricked parking area approximately 250 square feet
in area. On April 30, 1993 a compliance inspection was conducted by Regional Office staff and found
the brick had been removed and replaced with pinestraw. This is still not acceptable. Pinestraw is
considered an impervious surface due to the fact that it is driven over and compacted. It must be removed
and not replaced with anything else.
This letter is to inform you that your lot 32 is not considered to be in compliance with the
Storm water.Certification issued on December 21, 1990. Please take corrective action immediately.
