Everything seems to be in order except one small administrative detail. As you know,the permit is listed under Brown Investments Properties, Carteret Place Investors, and STEF, LLC which is listed on the application you submitted (thank you!). Per 15A NCAC 02H.1040(1)(a) and .1045(3)(a)(ii): The application was signed by yourself; however,the provided documentation from the NC Secretary of State does not identify you as a member or manager of the STEF, LLC. In the case of a limited liability corporation (LLC), the application must be signed by a manager or company official as defined in GS 57D. The only thing I need is signature authority for you to sign for STEF, LLC. The only member/manager listed on the NC Secretary of State business registration is Mr. Robert Abee but he is not represented on the signature page 3 of the renewal application. The simplest way to get this done is to have Mr. Abee write on a company letterhead a statement authorizing yourself to sign on his behalf for the STEF, LLC. Or the other option, I would need an additional page 3 of the renewal application, signed and notarized by Mr. Abee for signature authority of STEF, LLC. The requested information should be received in this Office by September 1, 2023 in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H.1045(4)(a)(i). Please note that only two letters requesting additional information is allowed in the State Stormwater Program, this being the first. If the required information is not satisfactorily provided by this date,the project will be returned in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H.1045(4)(a)(ii). If the project is returned and you wish to re-submit later, you will need to resubmit all required items at that time, including the application fee. We usually do not conduct preliminary reviews due to the workload here, however I do have a few minutes to take a glance. Per 15 NCAC 02H. 1045 only the current permit holder can renew the permit. Our database shows Brown Investment Properties, Inc. is the current holder of the permit so that company would need to be placed on Section B.1 on the renewal application.The mailing address for that company based on the INC Secretary of State is 440 W Market St Greensboro, NC 27401. That would need to be the mailing addressed represented in Section B.4 of the application. If you would like the permit to also be sent to the PO box currently listed on the preview application, please let me know and I can send it there as well but for administrative purposes,the mailing address on the application must match what is currently listed on the NC SOS. Please also be sure that the signature on page 3 is an original signature when submitted to our office,we cannot process copies. Thank you again for reaching out! I notice that the renewal request letter was also a request for transfer. If there has been a sale of property, please also submit a transfer application.This will need to be submitted by the current permit holder, Brown Investment Properties, as well as the current property owner.
