The Finance & Loan Committee is elected annually and meets as needed to approve loans through the Rural Venture Fund. However, the application indicates the permittee is Eastport at the Park Apartments, LLC while our system reflects the current permit holder as East Carolina Community Development, Inc. Unfortunately, only current permit holders can renew permits unless circumstances such as death, entity dissolution, etc. exist that would prevent the current permit holder from renewal. Additional research indicates the current permittee as reflected in our system is still in good standing, Current-Active status, with the NC Secretary of State's Business Registration office(via their website). Therefore, we are not able to accept your application as it currently is presented. Please correct and resubmit with current permit holder being reflected on the application as East Carolina Community Development, Inc. Please also note that we only accept applications with ORIGINAL signatures(not copies). It appears the application we received is either a photocopy or email printout. We must have the original signed and notarized application provided to us. I will hold your current packet and check 2048 in hopes that you will be able to resubmit in a timely manner. Please advise if you wish to have the entire application packet returned to you. To date,we have not received any additional correspondence regarding this outstanding application. Please advise how you would like to proceed. If preferred, I can have the application packet including all materials and fees placed with the receptionist for pick up. This is a reminder that permit renewal applications are due 180 days prior to their expiration per 15A NCAC 2H.1045(3). North Carolina General Statutes and the Coastal Stormwater rules require that this property be covered under a stormwater permit. Failure to maintain a permit subjects the owner to assessment of civil penalties. More information about the Post-Construction State Stormwater Program can be found on the following website: deq.ne.gov/sw Please submit a complete permit renewal form along with a $505.00 fee and other submittal requirements within 30 days. Also, it was noted in the file review that a designer's certification that the project was constructed in accordance with the approved plans as required by the permit has not been submitted. Permits are not automatically transferred when the property ownership changes. If this property has had an ownership change, a permit transfer application form along with the submittal requirements will also need to be submitted.
