Stormwater Narrative April 6, 2001 Re: North Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church New Hanover County TE 01017 The total site area of this project is 12.7 acres. Two buildings are proposed, a sanctuary and a family life center, totaling 27,063 sf of impervious surface area. An asphalt and stone access and parking area for both buildings will total 114,071 sf. Concrete sidewalks total 6224 sf A complete 147,358 sf of impervious area brings the total built upon area to 26.64% impervious. Stormwater runoff will be handled by a wet detention pond designed to exceed the states requirement of the first one inch of runoff. This pond will drain to Pages Creek with a classification of SA. A vegetated filter is not required due to the 90% TSS removal used in the wet detention design.
