DOT's response: -The existin~~ culvert may be bottomless. Until this is confirmed the current desi~,n is the
have a culvert extension at the inlet end with sills and more than likely a bottomless extension at the outlet
end.

Marla -Has the alignment be adjust ro less the impacts to the sU-eams?
DOT's response: -Yes, the alignment has been revised (from the original design) to minimize impacts. ~fhe
s -curves have been replaced with lon~~er tlatter curves instead of straight tangent sections. Also. a lar~,e
amount of retaining walls have been utilised to less impacts that ~~ould have been caused from lung till
slopes.
Chris -Have the large cut slopes heen minimized?
DOT's response: -YES, all cuts ~~ere minimized to the extent practicable, steepening slopes where allowed
by the Geutech Unit cawing rock catchment areas to be added and thus caused a decrease in the footwrint.
Copies of.lohn Thomas- entire e-mail were handed out to all the "team Nlembers stating that he confirmed
the jurisdictional determinations conducted by the consultants Stantec and also that he had concerns ahout
the 600 +/-linear feet of,jurisdictional su•cam channel impacts that are in the areas where the s-curves are
located.
