Box 849 Newport, North Carolina 28570 SUBJECT: NPDES PERMIT CORRECTION West Carteret WWTP Carteret County PERMIT NO: NC0077143 Dear Ms. Smith -Perri: Dee Freeman Secretary On March 3, 2010, Division staff notified the NPDES permiting program of an error found on the effluent limits page of the above -referenced permit. The Dissolved Oxygen sample type was shown as composite instead of grab. Also, please note that the Total Residual Chlorine footnote on that page was., updated to reflect the Divisions new requirements, and so reads: The Division shall consider all effluent TRC values reported below 50 ug/1 to be in compliance with the permit. However, the Permittee shall continue to record and submit all values reported by a North Carolina certified laboratory (including field certified), even if these values fall below SO ugR: Please find enclosed a copy of an amended effluent limitations page for outfall 001.
