Hi Samatha,
Allison is actually out this week, so I will be filling in for her to answer your questions. Our responses to
your questions are in blue below.
In "01_Trent River Tables1 and 2_240502.pdf" on page 10 of 11 Project Site 1-
30 TR-W10 Channel Dewatering is stated as Permanent. I'm assuming this was
supposed to be Temporary, but just wanted a confirmation from you.
• Yes, this should say Temporary.
1 apologize for not bringing this to your attention in my previous email, but
upon reviewing the stream forms I noticed that there are a few missing. Would you
please provide me with the missing stream forms?

o TR-NWW-67
o TR-NWW-68
o TR-NWW-64
o TR-NWW-60
o TR-NWW-38
• We typically do not include ephemeral stream forms in PJD packages,
but I can check our files to see if we have the physical forms when I
am in the office tomorrow.
• 1 would like to confirm with you that "Lawson Creek-p" is Perennial.
• Lawson Creek is an intermittent stream that turns perennial at Site 1-
26. The impacts occuring at this site are on the perennial section,
Lawson Creek-p. No impacts are anticipated on the intermittent
section of Lawson Creek at this site.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

(DWR #20240313) SAW-2020-02243 Request for Additional Information
Good Afternoon Samantha,
Thankyou foryour comments regardingthe Trent River Basin permit application.
Please see Axiom's response to comments below in BLUE.
DWR understands that temporary Buffer Impacts will be restored, but DWR is concerned about
the removal of trees in the buffered areas. Please provide a response stating that removal of
trees in the buffered area will be avoided and minimized as best as possible.
■ Site 1-2
• Site access occurs within an existing cleared powerline easement as
stated on sheet C3.2 of the Repair Plans. No trees are anticipated to
be removed for access to the repair site. The Site will be revegetated
immediately after construction.
Site 1-15
• On sheet C3.15 of the Repair Plans, NOTES state that the
"CONTRACTOR SHALL AVOID TREE REMOVAL AS BEST
FEASIBLE. MATURE TREES REMOVED WITHIN ZONE 1 RIPARIAN
BUFFER SHALL BE REPLANTED AT COMPLETION OF REPAIR." Within
the General Construction and Geotechnical Notes section on page 2 of
the Repair Plans is a section titled PERMANENT SEEDING SCHEDULE
FOR AREAS OTHER THAN CHANNELS, describing the general sequence
and herb species to be used for revegetating areas impacted by
construction, however, this does not include tree species. Any general
guidance on the size, species, and planting density requirements for
the replacement of trees in the buffer would be appreciated. We will
update the impact drawing for this site appropriately.
• Project Site 1-1A
o TR-W63
The map states "TR-W63 Stream Fill" but "Table 2. Total Impacts for the Trent
River drainage basin" states "TR-W63 Wetland Fill". Please confirm this is
wetland or stream fill.
• TR-W63 should state "Wetland Fill". Please see revised Impact Figures
attached.
o TR-W66
■ The map states "TR-W66 Stream Fill" but "Table 2. Total Impacts for the Trent
River drainage basin" states "TR-W66 Wetland Fill". Please confirm this is
wetland or stream fill.
• TR-W66 should state "Wetland Fill". Please see revised Impact Figures
attached.
• Project Site 1-15
o TR-W35
■ The map states "TR-W35 Stream Fill" but "Table 2. Total Impacts for the Trent
River drainage basin" states "TR-W35 Wetland Fill". Please confirm this is
wetland or stream fill.
• TR-W35 should state "Wetland Fill". Please see revised Impact Figures
attached.
• Project Site 1-19
o TR-W24
■ The map states "TR-W24 Stream Fill" but "Table 2. Total Impacts for the Trent
River drainage basin" states "TR-W24 Wetland Fill". Please confirm this is
wetland or stream fill.
• TR-W24 should state "Wetland Fill". Please see revised Impact Figures
attached.
• Project Site 1-23
o TR-NWW-1p
■ The map includes temporary and permanent stream fill, but TR-NWW-1p in
Table 2 only includes Permanent Stream Fill.
• 1 see that Table 2 shows TR-NWW-1p with permanent stream fill and
temporary dewatering (see screenshot below). However, the Impact
figure was incorrect. Please see revised impact Figures attached.
