RE: Pilot Mtn
Please see attached comments from Matt below. Will this suffice?
Justin
Justin,
We don't have access to a pump around system, but we can do the needed work quickly in less than a day and
we can fiber mat the sides of the fords to reduce runoff back into the stream. No fill removed from the crossings
will be put back in the stream.

I should add there won't be any changes to channel depth or width. We are just needing to remove the silt and
mud.

I may have missed this the first time around also, but technically our General Certification 3883 requires that the work
area be dewatered during construction. Do you know, or can you find out if the park is intending to pump around while
repairing the ford. If not, you need to send me something specifically requesting that I waive that requirement and
provide justification of why and what measures will be taken (work during low flow conditions, work all in one day, stop if
creating turbidity etc) to ensure protection of downstream waters.
Thanks,
