Mutual Agreement
for
Water Quality Improvement and/or
Stream Stabilization/Restoration Project
This agreement is made and entered into on this day of 20_ by
Roy Lynn Thomasson and Surry County, North Carolina,
In providing services to the landowner on this parcel/tract of land located at
112 Terrace Ave. Elkin NC 28621
and identified as Tax Parcel
Identification Number 495118229403 for water quality improvement and/or stream
restoration/stabilization activitiesto be performed we thereby mutually agree to the following items:
• Landowner will allow ingress and egress for all activities related to the water quality
improvement and/or stream restoration/stabilization such as: surveys, engineering,
construction, monitoring, etc. for Resource Institute, Inc. (RI) and its agents.
• RI's designated Project Engineer to acquire the required state and federal permits on behalf of
Surry County for project improvements.
• Landowner will work with the RI designated Project Construction Contractor to provide access
and staging areas for the delivery and storage of materials and construction of the project.
• Landowner is responsible for restricting people and/or livestock access to the project site during
construction.
• Landowner is responsible for limiting people and livestock access to the project site until
vegetation is established.
• Landowner will follow the project maintenance guidelines provided by the RI designated Project
Engineer for long term protection of the stream banks and stream corridor.
• No funding or match is required by the participating landowner. Surry County is assuming all
cost through grants/funding being made available to address these water resource concerns and
issues and to help landowners recover from the hurricane damages to their property.
