3j. Comments:
Mitigation is not proposed for the permanent stream impacts because the total permanent loss of stream bed is
below the required 0.02 acre threshold. The rip -rap will be keyed in and won't result in a loss of stream bed. Sills
and baffles will be installed at the entry/exit and throughout the culvert to reduce the rate of flow through the
culvert, and to maintain the natural stream material throughout the culvert.
The temporary impact associated with the sewer line crossing will result from an open -cut, the stream will be
dewatered prior to conducting work with within the stream. Following installation of the sewer line, riprap will be
embedded within the stream bed for stabilization. The stream banks will be restored to existing conditions,
following installation of the sewer line.
