Inspection Summary:
Inspection was conducted on 05/22/2024. Met with William Nelson, Currituck County, Airport Director(P:252-273-3242,
will [e-mail]). Following were the issues observed and discussed at this site:
1. This facility has a SWPPP that was last updated in 2011 and has not been updated.
2. Analytical and Qualitative monitoring has not been conducted at this site.
Following are the corresponding recommendations for this site:
1. SWPPP plan to be updated regarding all the expansion activities at this airport Going forward SWPPP to be reviewed,
updated and certified annually.
2. Periodic qualitative and analytical monitoring of stormwater samples to be conducted as required by the NCG15 permit
conditions. Analytical monitoring reports need to be submitted to NCDEQ-DEMLR via either eDMR or paper DMR.
