Hi Alys, I filled what I could on this but have sent it over to my engineer, Gary Macconnell, to complete the application. Thank you for sending. Kind regards, Mike Tenoever On Tue, Jan 2, 2024 at 9:01 AM Hannum, Alys K <alys.hannum@deq.nc.gov> wrote: Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Tenoever, Division of Water Resources’ records indicate that your permit, issued on November 20, 2018, expires on June 30, 2024. We have not received a renewal application. Both your permit and 15A NCAC 02T .0109 require you to request renewal of your permit at least 180 days prior to its expiration. Failure to do so may result in an assessment of civil penalties in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 143-215.6A. Therefore, please respond as soon as possible by selecting one of the following options: 1. APPLY FOR PERMIT RENEWAL – Renewing the permit allows you to continue operating your non-discharge system. You will be expected to pay all annual fees and follow all operation and maintenance procedures specified in your new permit. Please complete and submit the attached form(s) to apply for a permit renewal. 2. APPLY FOR PERMIT RESCISSION – If the non-discharge system was never constructed or if it is no longer active, you may request to rescind (cancel) your permit. If both the Central Office and Regional Office approve the rescission request, we will also waive any overdue annual fees. However, if you wish to construct or operate the subject non- discharge system in the future, you will have to obtain a new permit at that time. Please send an email to nathaniel.thornburg@deq.nc.gov to request rescission. 3. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP – If you no longer own the property containing the subject facilities, please request a Change of Ownership application and coordinate with the new landowner(s) to complete it. As your permit notes, ownership of the permit does not transfer with the land, therefore you are still responsible for the permit and annual fees until we can re-issue the permit to the new landowner(s). Please submit the completed forms electronically via one of the following methods: 1. For files less than 20 MB, send via email to me or Non-Discharge.Reports@ncdenr.gov. OR 2. For files greater than 20 MB, upload via the Non-Discharge online portal. 2 DO NOT submit paper copies of your application. Only send physical mail IF your renewal includes a major modification and requires an application fee. If you need to submit a fee, mail it to my attention at 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1617. We will accept applications for renewals with major modifications once we have received both the electronic application and fee. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and timely response. If you need additional information regarding this email, please do not hesitate to contact me.
