Estimated amount of screening loss at each location (permit site and/or station number). a. 5 C.Y. of stockpiled screenings. Permit sites #2A, 2B, 2C. (STA 65+54 RT to STA 67+50 RT) 2. Did the screening loss occur within the stream/wetland, and if so what is the impacted length/area? a. Screenings loss occurred within small intermittent JS stream that begins at outlet of 36” RCP under Corporate Circle Dr. Estimated impacted length 200’. 3. Anticipated steps for repair a. Contractor removed material by hand/shovels to reduce impact to streambed, repaired the down silt fence, installed a new run of silt fence for additional protection, installed larger check dam to slow water coming from offsite parking lots & relocated stockpiles farther away from JS. 4. Timeline for repair a. Work completed by end of day on 5/16/24. 5. Before and after pictures of cleanup and repairs a. See attached. 6. Rain amounts from MPE site. a. 1.33” on 5/14/24 b. 1.37” on 5/15/24 c. 0.31” on 5/16/24 d. Totaling 3.01” 7. Date of loss a. May 14th, 15th, & 16th, 2024. During the heavy rains on Tuesday, water overtopped the pipe system and went into the parking lot. The screenings got into the small jurisdictional stream that runs along the toe of Julian Road (permit site 2). I’m waiting on some more detailed information and pictures from the Resident’s office, and will pass it along when I receive it. They plan to begin removing it today with a combination of a vac truck and shovel work.
