The Town has reached out to our CEI Firm who is looking into the matter. Thank you, M. Alexander Sewell, Esq. Town Manager Town of Wadesboro Mail: PO Box 697, Wadesboro, NC 2817 Physical: 124 E. It was their intention to correct it before leaving that day. 2.I do not know if it has been corrected. The inspection was a few weeks ago and I have not been back to the site. 3.The expectations are that the Town will be informed enough to ask the questions of the contractors and/or inspectors—‘I was informed by the State that you had a deficiency on site, have you corrected it?’ Nothing more than that. Should there be some type of egregious violations, the expectations would be greater. This deficiency 1 is not unusual nor is it unexpected considering they severity of rain we have had lately, however; it should have been immediately corrected and the tendency in all types of construction is to delay repair of sediment and erosion control measures because they take time away from completing pay items. If the Town knows, then Town can help close the information loop and ask the questions of those involved. As the holder of the 401 permit, I wanted to make sure you knew and I expect the repair has probably been made by now. The written records were well done, and I appreciate that. Also, please know that any egregious deficiency or violation would be written up on formal letterhead and sent certified mail, an email is just to keep everyone in the loop. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
