After reviewing the above noted application, additional information is required in order to continue my
review. Please provide a response with the information requested within 30 days of this email. Note that the
application will be considered "on hold" until a complete response is received.
1. The PCN indicated that trees would be cut to conduct some of the work, but a buffer authorization was not
requested. Will the proposed work be covered by the Buffer Authorization issued 8/17/21 (4507 sqft and
918 sgft of Zone 1 and 2, respectively) or is it allowable per the table of uses? A new Buffer Authorization
will likely be required, if a new401 letter is being issued.
Yes, this is the same work covered under the Buffer Authorization issued 8/17/21. The trees mentioned are
the same trees with the associated impacts from the original buffer authorization. We do not anticipate a
new Buffer Authorization at this time.
2. Is the proposed work additional to the impacts authorized 8/17/2021 as part of DWR# 20201341 version 1
or is a new letter required due to expired NWs?
This new letter is required due to expired NWs. There is no new proposed work within the buffer that is not
covered under temporary buffer access.
3. The version 1 letter indicates that permanent impacts total 95 LF (rock toe and stabilization), but the PCN
provided for version 2 only lists 83LF of permanent impacts. Please clarify.
The impacts from versions 1 and 2 are the same. There are 83LF of Rock Toe and 12LF of Stabilization listed
as a total of 95LF of permanent impacts. Version 2 inadvertently omitted the stabilization.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this request.
Best,
