Afternoon Ryan, Please see attached erosion control plans for reference. -Please describe the dewatering activities and the vertical abutment removal process. Please see attached sheets EC-05 & EC-05A detailing the proposed dewatering activities (Phases 1 through 4). The existing vertical abutments will be removed down to the streambed elevation during Phase 3 once Impervious Dike #4 & #5 are in place. -What replanting efforts are planned for this Project within the temporary detour route post -construction? A recommendation would be installing coirmatting on the stream banks and live stakes within the replantingzone of temporary detours. Plans call for reforestation of disturbed areas (including the temporary detour areas) as shown on attached sheet RF-1 (last sheet). The erosion control designer is going to add coir fiber matting on streambanks once temporary detour is removed. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments. Thanks. David B.
