We have reviewed the information you submitted proposing restoration/bank stabilization work to
approximately 4,915 linear feet of Vanderpool Creek and its unnamed tributaries in Watauga County
in which NRCS is the federal sponsor for the project. As outlined in the attached Nationwide Permit
#27, no pre -construction notification is required to be submitted. Based on my review, there is no
further information needed from our office and the work is authorized by the attached permit
provided the terms/conditions of the permit are met. This permit expires on March 14, 2026 and
does not replace/preclude the need for you to obtain any other state/local authorizations. Feel free
