Erick,
I would like this email to serve as the staff report for the referenced Cargill permit WWQ0017321. Per our
conversation today, we both had questions about the statement in their cover letter that some residuals might be
hauled to a "corporation that specializes in horticulture development" and thought that worth an additional
information request to clarify.
We also spoke of their option to rescind this permit. Historically they have hauled to Wallace Farms in
Huntersville, NC for composting and have not utilized it for distribution / land application. I spoke with the current
EHS contact briefly last week to request a site visit and that is yet to be scheduled.
The MRO is okay with moving forward with the additional information request.
