RE: Chatham Park - Section 6.2 Phase 1B
Sewer System Extension Permit
Dear NCDEQ Reviewer,
cinai
APR .2 2024
RaIc;g, Fglonal oxiCC
On behalf of Chatham Park Investors LLC, please find the attached documentation in support of a Fast Track
Application (FTA 10-23) for Chatham Park Section 6.2 Phase 1B. As noted in the application, this project
will consist of 1,519 LF of 8" PVC sewer lines located east of Chatham Park Way and will connect to sewer
(WQ0043641) permitted and constructed under separate cover and will be tributary to the Village South
Pump Station (WQ0042824) permitted and constructed under separate cover. We are providing
infrastructure to serve the additional 47 units in Phase 1B of Section 6.2 consisting of 47 single family
homes, but we are allocating zero flow until such time that the downstream Village South Pump Station has
been Certified (anticipated June/July, 2024), as requested by DWR.
The proposed project has been designed to meet all the DWR's minimum design criteria for sanitary sewer
extensions. The design flow rate for this project is calculated at 8,460 gpd based on NCAC 2T Rules for
wastewater flow rates and the DEQ approved sewer flow reduction of 60 gal/bedroom, approved under
separate cover for Chatham Park, is included with this submittal package. The proposed sanitary sewer line
sizes are more than adequate to convey the projected design flow rates.
Please find attached the following information in support of the application:
