The application was returned for the following reasons: Additional Information Requested: 1. The 401 Certification cannot be processed until five (5) complete sets of the application, associated maps and appropriate fee are received. (DWQ is requesting that all associated project maps be submitted as a PDF file on a CD in addition to two (2) paper copies. All large-scale maps must be in black and white for storage purposes.) 2. Application fee: please note that the N.C. General Assembly approved an increase for application fees for all regulatory programs administered by DWQ, effective July 1, 2007. The fee for applications is now $240 for projects impacting less than an acre of wetland and less than 150 linear feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial). For projects impacting one or more acres of wetland or 1501inear feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial), the fee is $570. 3. The 401 Certification cannot be processed until a copy of the Corps of Engineers Public Notice for this project is received at the DWQ Central Office in Raleigh. No action is required on your part. The Corps of Engineers will forward the Public Notice to this Office when it is published. 4. DWQ requires the name of an individual shown as "Owner/Applicant". Until the information requested in this letter is provided, I will request (by copy of this letter) that the Corps of Engineers place this project on hold. Also, this project will be placed on hold for our processing due to incomplete information (15A NCAC 2H .0507(h)). Thank you for your attention.
