The Municipal Unit of the Division of Water Resources has reviewed the Industrial User Pretreatment Permit
(IUP)submitted by the City of Whiteville for the following Significant Industrial User(SILT).The submission was
received by the Division on 02/28/2024.

The review indicates that corrections and/or more information are required before the IUP will be adequate
and the minimum requirements of 15A NCAC 2H .0907 are met. Please review the following and respond by
May 22",2024.
For the Division to complete its review of the IUP,you are required to submit the following information and
corrections:
On the IUP Synopsis page in Section A IUP Basic Information,please put the applicable categorical regulation
in the table.
In Part 1 Section F of the permit please update the PQL values to comply with the PQL comp guide issued in
conjunction with the North Carolina Pretreatment Consortium for effluent monitoring for the following
parameters:
