Dear Mr. Parks:
A release of the above referenced mining permit was requested on June 6, 2023. An inspection was made of the
above mine on June 14,2023, in accordance with G.S. §74-56 of the Mining Act of 1971. At that time the site was
not ready for release. A follow up inspection was made of the above mine site on April 10, 2024, in accordance
with G.S. §74-56 of the Mining Act of 1971.
The mine was found to be satisfactorily reclaimed. Therefore,your company is released from further reclamation
responsibility for this site with respect to the Mining Act of 1971. I am returning your company's Assignment of
Savings Account No.21839 issued by Select Bank and Trust in the sum of$13,900.00 to you for your disposal.
