In response to your Notice of Violation (NOV-2024-LM-0028, NOV-2024-LV-0325, & NOV-2024-LV-0326),
the Town of Vanceboro has moved the backwash water into our Wastewater Collection System.
This process will start on May 6, 2024. We have already sent our new permit modifications to the
laboratory, for these new requirements to be met after May 6, 2024. The Town of Vanceboro's goal is to
supply safe drinking water to each and every customer, while protecting water and groundwater
resources by maintaining compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations.

In response to your Notice of Violation (NOV-2024-LM-0028), the laboratory that usually processes our
toxicity for the Town had capacity Issues in December. We rescheduled the toxicity to be done in
January 2024. An AT -Form documenting that this was going to happen was sent to Cindy Moore with
NCDEQ by Jim Sumner with Environmental Testing Solutions.
The Town of Vanceboro's goal is to supply safe drinking water to each and every customer, while
protecting water and groundwater resources by maintaining compliance with all State and Federal rules
and regulations.
