Inspection Summary:
A routine compliance inspection of the Bogue Watch deemed collection system was conducted on April 30, 2024. The
purpose of the evaluation was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified
in Permit WQCSD0663. Joel Mingus and Raymond Braxton, from Aqua North Carolina, were present during the inspection.
This collection system serves the Bogue Watch Subdivision and the flow has been averaging 27,000 to 30,000 GPD. The
system appears to be well maintained and operated. Wastewater from Pump Station (PS) #2 and #3 is pumped to PS #1.
From there, it is pumped to the equalization (EQ) tank at the inactive Bogue Watch WWTF (WQ0029821) and then to
Cannonsgate WWTF (W00028666), through a dedicated line, for treatment. Flow is monitored and recorded on the
Cannonsgate's monthly NDMR. The EQ tank and high level alarms at the Bogue Watch WWTF were inspected on
9/13/2023 and found to be compliant.
The facility is compliant with the deemed Collection System Permit WQCSD0663. Please review the comment sections of
the inspection report for more details.
