3. Mike - If they want to establish sampling points for their own information
that is fine with me; however, we are not going to establish sampling
points to be used for compliance purposes during construction of the
course. This activity is not a point source discharge. ~ , D

traps instead of basins due to -----
the terrain. They can't have it both ways. ~ A

Roger - I'm not sure if the DLR required tree removal plan will be adequate.
Todd- "It is the understanding of this Office that the language used is similar to that that Division of La ources
would require."
11. Mike -The GS already provide that Mt. Air must provide access for water
quality related matters. Since the golf course is located away from the
main entrance and Mtn. Air offices it will often times delay staff in
getting to the site to inspect or evaluate situations that arise during
golf course construction. Suggest that Mtn. Air provide a name or names
of no more than two individuals that can be contacted on site or via
telephone to let them know we are on our way to the site or on site.
Also, Mtn. Air needs to be informed that any WO sampling for purposes
other than their own data is required to be performed in a State
Certified Laboratory. Sample analyses performed on site by unapproved
methods or State certification are not considered accurate.
Also, I not sure Mtn. is requiring this notification of DLQ.
Roger - We should not notify them in advance of our inspections, but we
-.
should be willing fo split samples with them. -- -- ---__-
