Good afternoon, I left you a voicemail at work because I was not able to get through on your mobile yesterday. On
behalf of Duke Energy Progress, LLC (Duke Energy), WSP USA Environment & Infrastructure Inc. (WSP) is submitting the
attached revised response to the US Army Corps of Engineers' Request for Additional Information dated December 15,
2023, regarding SAW-2015-01426 (Duke Energy Unit 5-Dam Decommissioning Individual Permit). Duke Energy and WSP
have gone through extensive redesign changes and has provided an alternative design (i.e., West 2A) which includes a
reduced impact to Wetland C and provides a completed outfall design at the broad Broad River.
If you and/or the other agencies need further information or have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to
