RESPONSE TO CORRESPONDENCE REGARDING PERMITTING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
ABOVE-REFERENCED PROJECT
Dear Mr. Conner:
On November 19, 2007, the Division of Water Quality received a letter from you dated November 15,
2007, regarding permitting requirements for the above-referenced project, issued to you on March 19,
2007. You state in your letter that all the permitted impacts have already been conducted and that the
balance of the crossings will be installed via structural plate arches. Based on your letter, the DWQ will
not have additional permitting requirements regarding this project.
This letter only addresses permitting requirements for the above-referenced project and does not authorize any
impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your
application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ. Please call Ms. Cyndi Karoly or Mr. Ian McMillan
at 919-733-1786 if you have any questions regarding or would like to set up a meeting discuss this matter.
