Jerry, H w Culp Lumber Company's first quarter stormwater sampling results indicated a benchmark exceedance for Total Suspended Solids. The attached DMR and this email serve as notification that the facility has begun Tier 1 response for TSS. A scan of the DMR and cover letter are attached. The following actions have been initiated. 1 1. Notifying the DEMLR Mooresville Regional Office (this email and DMR uploaded to NPDES Stormwater Permit DMR Upload website). 2. A stormwater management inspection will take place on May 1, 2024, to evaluate potential causes of the benchmark exceedance. 3. From this information, Culp will make a plan for ways to reduce TSS concentrations. 4. The identified actions will begin implementation by May 6, 2024. The original signed DMR has been mailed to the Mooresville Regional Office. The results were uploaded via the NPDES Stormwater Permit Discharge Monitoring Report(DMR) Upload form website. The facility has not been able to access the eDMR system to date,we have been actively working on this issue. I will give you a call to discuss..
