P1vSpgs mitigation_DWQ Express Review Permit Subject: PkrSpgs mitigation_DWQ Express Review Permit From: "Rob Caron" <rob@mitchellenvironmental.com> Date: Fri, 30 Nov 2007 18:12:05 -0500 To: <lia.myott@ncmail.net>, "'Scott Mitchell"' <scott@mitchellenvironmental.com>, "Pete Colwell" <pete@mitchellenvironmental. com> Hello Lia, As discussed Friday evening, see attached copy of USACE 404 permit for Parker Springs. Below is a breakdown of impacts for your calculations. Stream Impacts Area (A) =Intermittent = 115 If Area (B) = Perenial (Parkers Crk) = 128 If Area (C) =Intermittent (41' less 28' isolated) = 13 If Total impacts = 256 If USACE 2:1 mitigation for Parkers Creek increases total impacts to 384 If. But Monte deemed the 13 If in Area (C) as 'unimportant'. So total USACE mitigation = 371 If Please call Scott's mobile early Monday morning to review above and advise where we can find/read the 'guidelines for use in compensatory mitigation for adjacent hydro units' you referred to last night. Thanks again for your urgent attention on this express review. We will follow up with you early Monday morning. Rob Caron Mitcherl EnviYOnmental, P.A. P.O.
