City of Wilson,North Carolina
PN: 23-144
Dear Mr. Hall:
The City of Wilson has planned, and Green Engineering has designed a 3-inch dia. ductile iron
sanitary sewer force main to provide service to a residence on 5114 Packhouse Road(SR 1382). The force
main will tie directly into the City's existing collection system on SR 1812 (Hunting Ridge Road). The
City will operate and maintain this force main as part of their collection system.
Please find attached two (2) copies of each of the following documents for your review and
approval:
• Fast-Track Sewer Application Form—One(1)original and one(1)copy
• 8 'h"x I I"copy of project location on USGS Quadrangle Maps
• Street Level Aerial Photography for location reference
Also, please find attached check in the amount of$480.00 to cover the application review fee. If
you should have any questions or require additional information, please call.

So, the Pump Station information will not be listed in the issued permit, correct ?
need to make sure because we don't want the City to be held liable in any way for the station itself....since
the permit is just for the Force Main Extension.

One more item I need to make clear so hopefully we don't get off on the wrong track here.
The Permit application was for a Force main only. This being due to the City of Wilson choosing to permit
and maintain the force main.
Reason being, this is a property that has been annexed by the City and so service must be provided. The
City has no intention of operating or maintaining the grinder pump station.
It will only serve a single residence and it will be up to the Property Owner to maintain the station /sewer
service. The City will only serve as the collections and treatment for that residence.
That being said, since this will be sewer service by the City of Wilson, will the State require a Sewer
Application to be submitted by the Property Owner for the service? If so, we will need to notify the property
owner now so they can be prepared to send application.

hope I have made the mapping legible enough.... Due to the scale, I have include Insets (Blow-ups) of the

Hello Landon,
After reviewing the Fast Track Sewer System Extension Application for the City of Wilson—Packhouse Road Sewer
Force Main Extension (Application Number WQ0045226), additional information is required in order to further
process the application. Please provide the following information before May 16, 2024,and note that the requested
information must be submitted within 30 days of this request, or the applicant will be required to submit a new
